Wax wears off in a couple months. A ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and holds up for years. We do paint correction first to pull out the swirl marks, then lay down the coating in your garage or driveway. After it cures, water beads off the paint, bird droppings wipe right off, and you can go months between real washes. Booked by appointment so the car can sit overnight.

Is a ceramic coating actually different from a spray sealant?

Yes — it's a hard, semi-permanent layer that bonds to the clear coat for 1 to 5 years. Spray sealants are useful but they wear off in a few months. Different product, different price, different result.

Do you do paint correction before the coating?

Always. We pull out swirl marks and light scratches first — otherwise the coating just locks the swirls under glass. The 1-year package gets a single-stage correction; 3 and 5 year get two-stage.

Where will you do the install?

Your garage works best because the car needs to cure 12-24 hours without rain or dust. No garage? We've got a tent setup we can use if the weather forecast is clear.

Do I still need to wash the car after a ceramic?

Yes, just way less often and the wash is easier. Most coated cars in Prairie Village go every 4-6 weeks. Skip the brush car wash though — that scratches the coating like it scratches paint.

What's the warranty?

Backed by the coating manufacturer for the term you choose (1, 3, or 5 years). We give you the paperwork and the maintenance schedule when we hand the car back.
